One of the greatest things about the UC Berkeley Venture Capital Executive Program has always been the quality and substance of the participants, and their willingness to collaborate to form a true learning community. The purpose of the VCEP Alumni Summit is to extend that community across the entire cohort of program alumni. Many of you have asked us to find ways to help us keep in touch and continue our learning journey. The Summit is our answer.
With the global challenge of Covid-19, there can be no better time to reconnect and share best practices and ways to survive and thrive in this new and challenging environment. We will be taking a deep dive into COVID-19 strategies and views of critical industry verticals including consumer, mobile, B2B SaaS, cyber security, Iot, HealthTech, etc. as well as the impact of COVID-19 on the availability of capital at all stages, from Seed, to Growth, to IPO.
Professor Jerome S. Engel is an internationally recognized expert on innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture capital, lecturing and advising business and government leaders around the world. Most recently he has focused on lean innovation entrepreneurship and developing innovation ecosystems globally.
Mr. Foote has been a venture capitalist investing in early-stage companies for the past 15 years, most recently as co-founder and Managing Director of Co=Creation=Capital. He advises corporations on establishing and managing their Corporate Venture Capital businesses.
